1 The require ash producing materials are gathered in open space and burnt

2 The ash formed is collected

3 The boiler is set on the heater,stove,wood,gas,etc and the needed amount of palm oil is put in the boiler pot

4 The oil is heated till very clear(no longer reddish)and about equal amount of the ash and some potash is added into the boiling oil.

5 foaming starts as soon as the ash is added

6 Here,water is sprinkled on the mixer content to reduce forming at regular intervals of about 60sec while mixing continues

7The required water(about the quantity of the ash/potash)is added and the mixture is boiled for atleast 30 minutes or till the mixture become gummy to touch.

8A spoon take is collected,cooled and tested.

9The boiling is stopped if soapis well formed
